Yampa Valley Medical Center Receives 2014 Joint Commission Top Performer Award
Key Quality Measures in Surgical Care Two Years in a Row
The Joint Commission has named Yampa Valley Medical Center as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® in Surgical Care. This is the second consecutive year YVMC has earned this honor. The hospital is one of only 1,043 hospitals in the United States to achieve this distinction based on excellence in accountability measure performance.
The Joint Commission’s Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® program recognizes accredited hospitals that attain excellence on accountability measure performance. The program is based on data reported in the previous year about evidence-based clinical processes for certain conditions.
